It is customary to organize dealer meets at the arrival time of Kharif season. Most of the agri-inputs companies, particularly seed companies follow this tradition. However the Mega ‘Recharge’ meetings organized by NBIL in the month of late May 2012, have created a great amount of excitement amongst the dealers. This excitement was heightened further when the popular Bhojpuri singing sensation Ms. Devi launched the schemes for NBIL paddy varieties Gorakhnath 509, Loknath-505, 510 & Kabir-508 with great fun-fare in Bihar, Jharkhand & Eastern U.P. These schemes will benefit the paddy farmers. The scheme of 1 kg paddy seed FREE on the purchase of 3 kg paddy seed of Kabir-508, received overwhelming response from farmers. Over one thousand prominent dealers participated in these ‘Recharge’ meetings. “This is the best promotional campaign in the state” commented many experienced dealer from Bihar, Jharkhand & Eastern U.P. These ‘ Recharge’ meeting will fetch NBIL a great mileage in Kharif sales.
